Acharya Release Date Officially Announced

Acharya, the much awaited social drama starring Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan is all set to hit the screens on 29th April. Yesterday evening the makers - Matinee Entertainment confirmed the same by releasing a new poster on social media.

The makers of the film Acharya also said since SS Rajamouli’s much-awaited period actioner RRR which features Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead role, is hitting the screens on March 25, they have mutually agreed to come a month after the movie.

They added, “After a healthy discussion and on mutual understanding, we would be releasing our film Acharya on April 29, as ‘RRR’ would be hitting the screens on 25th March.”

Ram Charan is essaying an extended cameo in Acharya and the actor will be seen sharing the screen space with dusky siren Pooja Hegde in Acharya, which is being bankrolled by Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy under the Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainment banners.

Chiranjeevi is essaying the role of Naxalite turned social reformer who launches the fight against Endowments Department over misappropriation of temple donations and the funds. Directed by Koratala Siva, Acharya has music scored by Mani Sharma and cinematography by Tirru.
