Acharya To Release For Sankranthi 2021?

Director Koratala Siva waited for a very long time to work with Megastar Chiranjeevi. Though Chiru signed for Koratala’s movie long back, he had to complete the film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and made Koratala wait. After the release of Sye Raa, Chiru started working for his next movie with Koratala.

The film initially was rumored to be titled, Acharya. However, it was confirmed by Chiru himself in an event unknowingly. The shoot was happening at a fast pace and then the Coronavirus pandemic entered the country and changed the plans. As the country is under lockdown for a long time, all the movie works are forced to stop.

According to the sources, Koratala doesn’t want any further delay and he wants to release the film for Sankranthi 2021. As soon as the government gives orders for the shoots and other works, Koratala and the team will start working for the film again. Needless to say, the film is being made on a high budget.

The sets of the temple itself cost a lot of money. Though initially, the shoot was planned in an original temple, Chiru suggested using sets as there will be no troubles of camera work and timings. After Trisha who was chosen as the female lead initially walking out, Kajal Aggarwal was roped in as the lead.
