Actress Meena’s Husband Vidyasagar Passes Away

In a shocking development, senior actress Meena’s husband Vidyasagar, passed away earlier today in Chennai due to a severe lung infection.

As per the recent reports, Vidyasagar suffered lung-related ailments that were made worse by a Covid-19 infection. He was a Bengaluru-based businessman and was under treatment for a lung infection for the last few months. But, the medical experts couldn’t save him as the Covid-19 infection had worsened his already existing lung disease, which he got inhaling air infected by pigeon droppings.

Actress Meena, who started her career as a child artiste in films and became one of the most sought actresses during the nineties, married Vidyasagar in 2009 and the couple has a daughter Nainika, who played Thalapathy Vijay’s daughter in ‘There’.

The tragic news came as a shock to everyone and Meena’s friends, fans and well-wishers are expressing their condolences and extending their support to the family.
