In celebration of its 25th anniversary in the country, Apple gave a sneak peek at its first India-branded retail store on Monday. The second Apple store is scheduled to open this week in New Delhi.
Apple CEO Tim Cook expressed enthusiasm about the company's plans to open its first retail stores in India, saying that the company looks forward to building on its long history there. Cook, who will be the first CEO of the tech giant to open retail stores in India, is enthusiastic about the country's potential for growth. Apple BKC, which will open to the public on Tuesday in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) financial, arts, and entertainment district, will allow customers to peruse Apple's wares, experience first-rate service, and learn how to get the most out of their devices through no-cost Today at Apple sessions. Apple BKC has announced a new Today at Apple event called "Mumbai Rising," which will run from Tuesday, April 18, through the summer.
These free sessions will feature Apple products and services and will offer hands-on activities that celebrate the local community and culture, bringing together tourists, local artists, and creatives.
Because it does not rely on fossil fuels and has a dedicated solar array, the Apple Store in BKC is designed to be one of the most energy-efficient of its kind anywhere in the world. The store is carbon neutral and runs entirely on renewable energy.
