All-Party Delegation Led by Kanimozhi Reaches Moscow to Highlight India’s Anti-Terror Stance

As part of India's Operation Sindoor global outreach, a high-level, all-party delegation led by DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi arrived in Moscow on May 23 to strengthen India’s international campaign against terrorism. This marks the third such diplomatic mission aimed at exposing Pakistan's involvement in cross-border terrorism and reinforcing India’s zero-tolerance stance.
The delegation, which includes MPs Rajeev Rai (SP), Brijesh Chowta (BJP), Prem Chand Gupta (RJD), Ashok Kumar Mittal (AAP), and diplomat Manjeev Singh Puri, was received by Ambassador Vinay Kumar at Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport. Their visit will include meetings with Russian lawmakers, foreign ministry officials, think tanks, and media representatives.
The Indian Embassy in Moscow highlighted the delegation’s objective to convey India’s resolve to combat terrorism in all its forms. The initiative is part of a larger effort involving seven delegations traveling to 33 countries between May 21 and June 5 to counter disinformation and garner international support.
This diplomatic push comes in the aftermath of India’s deep-strike Operation Sindoor against terror outfits in Pakistan. The government aims to build consensus against states supporting terrorism and to emphasize that such actions are no longer tolerable.
Kanimozhi, before leaving for Moscow, posted on social media, underscoring the unity of purpose among the MPs. During their two-day visit, the delegation will engage in strategic discussions with members of Russia’s Federation Council and State Duma, further strengthening bilateral ties while championing India’s anti-terror narrative.
This outreach is not only about geopolitical optics but also a strategic move to rally global support, counter Pakistan’s narrative, and establish India’s leadership in the global fight against terrorism.
