Allegations of Corruption and Neglect: TDP's Lokesh Targets Education Minister Botcha

Nara Lokesh, the general secretary of TDP, launched a scathing attack on Education Minister Botcha Satyanarayana, accusing him of neglecting development in his Assembly constituency, Cheepurapalli, due to rampant corruption. During public meetings in Rajam, Cheepurapalli, and Etcherla as part of the Sankharavam programme, Lokesh asserted that despite holding a senior ministerial position, Botcha failed to initiate any significant development projects in Cheepurapalli and the broader Vizianagaram district.

Lokesh urged the public to reject Botcha and his family members in the upcoming elections, emphasizing the need for accountability and transparency in governance. He reiterated his stance on taking strict action against officials involved in unlawful activities, citing the recent suspension of an IAS officer, a DSP, and several police officials by the Election Commission for electoral malpractices during the Tirupati by-election.
