Allu Arjun’s Release from Chanchalguda Jail
Iconic actor Allu Arjun was freed from Chanchalguda Jail this morning. Greeted by his father Allu Arvind and a throng of fans, the actor’s release marked the end of a challenging day.
Arjun had been taken into custody in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede, where one life was lost. Initially ordered into 14 days of judicial custody by the Nampally Court, the actor secured interim bail from the High Court.
However, logistical lapses delayed his release as the High Court’s order copy contained errors and wasn’t uploaded correctly. With senior officials unavailable to approve the revised order, the actor had to spend the night in jail. Fans and industry colleagues rallied in support online, trending the hashtag #WeStandWithAlluArjun.
