Amit Shah-Owaisi fight over NIA

NIA (National Investigation Agency) Amendment Bill was in debate in Rajya Sabha on Monday. This bill gives the anti-terror organization powers to probe cybercrimes and human trafficking. According to the bill, the agency can also pitch-in if Indians in foreign soils are attacked.
However, the discussion in the Parliament got dirty, when Home Minister Amit Shah and Hyderabad politician Asaduddin Owaisi were engaged in an argument. Mr. Owaisi said, “What powers are you giving to NIA officer when you send him abroad to investigate someone? Don't compare us to US and Israel and intrude on other people's sovereignty... also, you cannot have such a vague definition of national interests in a bill,".
During the duet, Amit Shah got up from his seat and pointed finger at Owaisi and told him to listen to their side also. But Owaisi took it badly and told him to not point finger at him. He said, “Amit Shah threatens us by raising his finger but he is just a Home Minister, not God.”
The opposition was concerned about the misuse of the bill if it gets passed. But the government assured that this will not happen.
The bill, which was passed in Lok Sabha, needs to be passed in Rajya Sabha, along with clearance from President Kovind, before it becomes law.
