Ammoru Thalli Review – The Best Diwali Gift!

Mookuthi Amman which in Telugu titled ‘Ammoru Thalli’ has been released today. With the trailer, director RJ Balaji made people expect more. Let’s see how the film turned out finally!
Director: RJ Balaji
Cast: Nayanthara, RJ Balaji, Urvashi
Story: As his father leaves the house and being the elder son, Engels Ramaswamy (RJ Balaji) shoulders the responsibility of taking care of his family consisting of his grandfather, mother, and three younger sisters. Ramaswamy is a news reporter who struggles to bring some serious news into the limelight.
After Ramaswamy entering the temple after many years, Goddess (Nayanthara) appears. But, instead of granting wishes, she expects something from Ramaswamy. What is it and how Ramaswamy helps the Goddess forms the rest of the story!
Review: Ammoru Thalli questioned Godmen and their wrongdoings, but in a funny way! The audience won’t get bored for a minute throughout the film as the whole cast performed so well. However, it doesn’t mean that the film doesn’t have flaws at all. We have seen questioning ‘Babas’ and ‘Swamijis’ in the past and there’s no wonder if the film reminds you of Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh starrer ‘Gopala Gopala’!
RJ Balaji did his best both as an actor and director. He made people laugh hard with his comedy, expressions, and body language! Nayanthara suited perfectly for her role. The other cast did well. The best thing is that the director hasn’t targeted just one religion. Take it in a lighter manner if you find some similarities with ‘Trance’.
Verdict: Overall, the film is a good Diwali treat and one can enjoy it throughout!
