Anand Mahindra To Begin Film Production

India’s most reputed software organization Tech Mahindra has celebrated its first convocation day on Sunday and the IT minister of Telangana, KT Rama Rao and Dr Ella of Bharat Biotech have attended the event as the chief guests.

On the memorable day, the Chairman of the company Anand Mahindra posted, “I remember when @MahindraUni was just a dream. A vision originally framed by Vineet Nayyar of @tech-mahindra so proud to preside over its 1st convocation day with @KTRTRS as Chief Guest & De Ella of Bharat Biotech as Guest of Honour. And with the students as the celebrities!”

The company also invited 5 high-achievers from the sporting world and Tollywood industry such as Mythali Raj, Adivi Sesh, Gopichand Pullela, Boyapati Srinu and Nag Ashwin. Inviting these celebs, the company posted, “Come on sir, asking any telugu to recognise a telugu director is like asking to recognise one’s own nose tip..Boyapati, Nag Ashwin..Gopi sir, cricketer Mithali Raj and actor Adivi Sesh..you must watch “Major” the movie on Mumbai blast, keep coming to our Telugu land.”

During the event, Anand said that he had a passion for cinema and an interest in venturing into a movie production. He said that he wanted to be a movie maker when he was young. As per the recent reports, the business tycoon pursued movie making and architecture from Harvard University after completing his education at Lawrence school, Lovedale. In 1977, he graduated magna cum laude from Harvard and later, he went on to study MBA from the Harvard Business school in 1981.
