Anasuya Bharadwaj Joins Pushpa

Actor Anasuya Bharadwaj has been roped in to play a crucial role in Allu Arjun's upcoming pan-Indian project Pushpa. She has joined the sets on Tuesday to shoot some important scenes. Interestingly, this is her second film with director Sukumar after Rangasthalam.

Anasuya will play a powerful role and has started shooting for the movie. The team has shot some pivotal scenes on her. The actress is very excited to play a strong role that has got more substance than style.

The filmmakers are following an alternate-day working system. Recently, the makers have shot a high-voltage action sequence under the supervision of action choreographer Peter Hein at Tolichowki.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Pushpa is set in the backdrop of Seshachalam forest, and the plot of the movie revolves around red sanders smuggling. Bunny plays the role of a truck driver, who illegally transports the forest produce. The action thriller drama also features Mollywood star Fahadh Faasil as the main antagonist and Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Mythri Movie Makers banner is financing this intense action drama.

The movie will release simultaneously in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi later this year and has music by Devi Sri Prasad.
