Andhra Pradesh Eyes AI University in Amaravati with Support from Nvidia’s CEO Jensen Huang

During a visit to Mumbai, Andhra Pradesh IT and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh met with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, discussing a visionary plan to establish an AI University in Amaravati. Lokesh sought Huang’s insights and support to bring cutting-edge AI education and research to Andhra Pradesh.

Huang, enthusiastic about AI’s transformative potential, shared his vision for how artificial intelligence is set to revolutionize industries worldwide. Lokesh later shared details of the meeting with his followers on social media platform X, posting a photo and describing their exchange as a “fruitful discussion” on AI’s future impact.

"Today, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Jensen Huang, Founder & CEO of Nvidia, at the Nvidia AI Summit in Mumbai. Nvidia, now the world's most valued company, is leading the way in AI computing. We discussed AI’s potential and how it could enhance governance," Lokesh wrote on X.
