Andhra Pradesh Plans Three New Airports: BJP Leader Purandeswari
Amaravati: BJP leader and state president Daggubati Purandeswari has announced plans for three new airports in Andhra Pradesh.
The proposed airports will be located in Kuppam, Dagadarthi, and Mulapet. This development is seen as a significant boost for connectivity and economic progress in the state. Kuppam, in Chittoor district, is the Assembly constituency of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, whose Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is allied with the BJP.
Additionally, work on the international airport at Bhogapuram is progressing rapidly, with the aim of completing the project by December 2026. Chief Minister Naidu emphasized the importance of these projects in catalyzing growth and development in the region.
