Another Telangana Student Died, Death Toll Reaches 20
Since the Board of Intermediate Education announced the results last week, which were marred by goof-ups, many students committed suicides.
Now, another 17-year-old Sirisha ended her life at her house in Dhanwada block of Narayanpet district, near Hyderabad.
Sirisha parents said that she was depressed after failing in Zoology. Intermediate results were announced on April 18th, but the results had a lot of faults which took away many lives.
Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao on Thursday announced free re-counting and re-verification for all the students who failed in the exams.
He also asked students to not commit suicide as inter is not the end of life. The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on Friday issued a notice to Telangana government, asking for a detailed report on goof-ups
