Another Woman Named Sasikala Enters Sabarimala Shrine
Two Women on January 2nd entered Sabarimala shrine which raised riots and injured many people. Even one person was killed in these riots.
Now, again another woman named Sasikala from Sri Lanka entered the shrine. Police said that she entered the temple and performed puja to Lord Ayyappa. But Sasikala said that she was stopped after reaching 18 steps.
Since the Supreme Court declared that all women have entry into Sabarimala shrine, many protests had been taken place and they are still continuing.
Till now, police have arrested 1369 persons and booked cases on 801 people. Also, they were using homemade bombs to attack the people. The BJP office in Kurnool was fired.
If Supreme Court didn’t take necessary action on this issue, the protests will even get increased and will take away many lives.
