Apple employees are no longer able to use ChatGPT; find out why.
OpenAI built a chatbot called ChatGPT. Some businesses are worried that ChatGPT, the most advanced AI technology currently available online, could cause more harm than good.
Over a million people downloaded it in just five days, making it the most popular app in the world. It has many abilities, some on par with a human's. You may simulate human activity in numerous contexts, including answering questions, writing essays, and performing various other tasks.
Since Apple is working on its artificial intelligence technologies, its staff will no longer have access to ChatGPT and other comparable programmes. Apple is worried that its employees will utilise ChatGPT to discuss proprietary information. The WSJ also reports that the Cupertino powerhouse has discouraged using Microsoft's automated coding tool GitHub Copilot.
Apple takes such precautions because user feedback is used to refine the models. Because of this, sensitive information may be accidentally divulged. In March, OpenAI briefly shut down ChatGPT owing to a flaw that exposed users' chat history titles. On the other hand, OpenAI now offers a setting that lets people disable chat history so they don't have to use it to train an AI model.
