BJP And Jana Sena Join Hands

Actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan has confirmed that Jana Sena is forming an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party, and the two will fight all coming elections together and hope to capture power in Andhra Pradesh in 2024.
The JSP Chief Pawan Kalyan and BJP state president Kanna Lakshminarayana jointly announced the decision in a joint press conference on Thursday. Pawan also said that their alliance will eliminate the minor differences and they would work together for a common cause.
Praising prime minister Narendra Modi, he said that when he met him in Gandhinagar, he told him that Andhra Pradesh needs BJP and so he formed an alliance with the party. Jana Sena was formed in March 2014 and after supporting the BJP-TDP coalition initially, had a fallout out with the two parties.
Narayana said that when the YRSCP government has failed to keep up with their promises and policies, their BJP-Sena alliance will fight against eliminating their policies. He said they agreed to educate people on the failures of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government and the previous government of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
