BJP Promises 1 Lakh Cows, Laptops, and Loan Relief for Telangana Elections
The game of promises has been started already, as the Telangana elections are very near. While, Telangana Chief Minister KCR promised employment for youth, if his party wins, BJP has no way but to join the game.
Now, BJP government promised a loan relief of up to Rs. 2 lakh for farmers, free laptops for degree students and a one lakh for the people every year, if they come into the power in Telangana. Though the first two promises are normal, distributing cows seems to be different.
The document released t by state BJP president K Laxman confirms the conservative too. It promises a legislation to prevent "forced religious conversions" through monetary offers and inducements.
Also, strict regulation for liquor sale and the deportation of Rohingya migrants were promised. BJP government also promised the distribution of free seeds and pump sets.
BJP has also promised free cycles for girl students from Class 7 to Class 10 and mini-scooters at 50% subsidy to those opting for higher education.
It has also promised free houses to all eligible people in the economically backward section by 2022. Rs 5000 will be paid for the rent purpose until the house construction gets complete.
BJP also assured that it will bring Telangana under the ambit of the Narendra Modi government's Ayushman Bharat health scheme and also set up generic medicine centres at every administrative unit.
Other assurances like Rs 3116 for unemployed youth, Rs. 1 lakh and 12 gm gold to poor women at the time of marriage as a gift, subsidy for senior citizens who want to visit Kailash Mansarovar, Kashi and Puri; and skill development classes at Madrassas were made.
Apart from these promises, allocation of Rs. 100 crore to set up a "linguistic board" for Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Oriya and Hindi speakers in the state.
