BJP's Bandi Sanjay Condemns BRS and Congress, Asserts BJP's Stand
In a press conference held on Friday, BJP National General Secretary Bandi Sanjay made significant statements regarding the political landscape in Telangana. He asserted that eight BRS MLAs and five incumbent MPs from the party are currently in communication with the BJP. However, he firmly declared that the BJP would not form an alliance with BRS under any circumstances. Sanjay criticized Chief Minister KCR for engaging in political theatrics and emphasized Prime Minister Modi's unwavering stance against aligning with corrupt parties, citing BRS's previous exclusion from the NDA during its tenure in power.
Moreover, Sanjay accused the Congress government of involvement in corruption related to the Kaleswaram project, urging for legal action against those responsible. He highlighted that the BJP has submitted a detailed report to the Central Dam Safety Authority, exposing flaws within the project and raising concerns about the alleged misappropriation of one lakh crores in project funds.
Sanjay also criticized BRS for addressing the Krishna River Management Board (KRMB) issue and accused both Congress and BRS of receiving support from "Rajakars" and MIM parties. He firmly stated that the electoral contest in Telangana is primarily between the Congress and the BJP, expressing confidence in BJP's potential victory in the Hyderabad Parliament if alleged instances of vote theft are rectified. Additionally, Sanjay warned the Congress of potential public backlash if their promises to the electorate remain unfulfilled.
