BRS Alleges Revanth Reddy Threatening Jubilee Hills Voters
Former MLA Balka Suman has accused Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of resorting to threats and intimidation ahead of the Jubilee Hills by-election. Speaking at Telangana Bhavan, Suman alleged that Congress was using “state-sponsored tactics” to scare voters and suppress BRS supporters.
He claimed that the Chief Minister’s recent remarks reflected panic and frustration, revealing his fear of defeat. Suman also accused Congress candidate Naveen Yadav and his associates of threatening BRS workers, questioning how a person with a criminal record could serve as Yadav’s chief election agent.
Meanwhile, BRS minority leaders accused Congress of betraying Muslim voters. Mukheeb Chanda said the community had lost faith in Revanth Reddy due to his closeness with the BJP and his failure to fulfill promises such as constructing a graveyard in Borabanda.
“Even Azharuddin’s Cabinet appointment is nothing but a pre-election gimmick,” Chanda said, claiming that the Congress government had done little for minorities. The BRS leaders urged voters to reject Congress’s divisive politics and hold the ruling party accountable for its broken promises and rising intimidation tactics in Jubilee Hills.
