BRS Khandar Loha public meeting on March 26.
The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), which has been rapidly expanding into neighboring states, will present the Telangana development model in Maharashtra on Sunday when party president and chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will do so at Kandhar Loha in Nanded.
Following its successful foray into national politics, the BRS is holding its second public meeting in Maharashtra. On February 5, a public meeting was held in Bhokar of Nanded district; it was the first such meeting in the State and the first such meeting outside Telangana. On Sunday, in the presence of Chandrashekhar Rao, many leaders, and activists from various political parties are expected to join the BRS.
In the wake of the BRS's policies, Chandrashekhar Rao's vision, and Telangana's development, many prominent politicians from the Nationalist Congress Party, the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Congress Party, and the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) have announced their intention to join the BRS at the Kandhar Loha public meeting.
Several prominent politicians from the BJP, NCP, and MNS have recently switched allegiances to the BRS. These include the president of the NCP's Kisan cell, Nagnath Ghisewad, and the district chief of Nanded, Datta Pawar.
Nearly one hundred thousand people from sixteen different mandals (taluks) in the Nanded district are anticipated to attend the Kandhar Loha meeting.
The BRS has sent out a fleet of 16 customized campaign vehicles, each outfitted with an LED screen, to visit rural areas to drum up interest in the upcoming public meeting and inform residents about the various social and economic initiatives underway in Telangana.
The BRS administration hopes to use the rally as a springboard to gain traction in Maharashtra and to communicate with as many people as possible.
The party had already applied to become officially recognized in Maharashtra and have its "car" symbol designated by the State Election Commission.
Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao wants to usher in a qualitative shift in national politics, in contrast to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has been making all efforts for the well-being of his friend Adani. MLA and district head in Nanded A Jeevan Reddy said that people were eager to hear what he had to say.
According to him, everything necessary has been done to ensure that the public meeting with Chandrashekhar Rao is a huge success.
