BRS on track for hat-trick: Survey

According to Telangana pre-poll survey findings, the BRS remains the people's choice. After achieving 46.75 percent in May, the BRS led competing parties in the latest Political Reconnaissance Study Report from Mission Chanakya with 44.62 percent.
Though up from 28.19 percent, the Congress finished second with 32.71 percent. However, the BJP scored 17.6%, down from 22.7 percent. Mission Chanakya, a respected political research and analysis group, issued the study report on Sunday. It has accurately predicted many Parliament and State elections, including the recent Karnataka elections.
Female voters favour the BRS at 50.32 percent, compared to 38.91 percent of male voters. The Congress won 31.65% of women's votes and 33.76% of men's, while the BJP won 15.05 percent and In terms of communities, 45.97 percent of BCs (Backward Classes), 41.2 percent of OCs (Open Category), 43.17 percent of SCs (Scheduled Castes), 44.45 percent of STs (Scheduled Tribes), and 48.31 percent of minorities seemed to support the BRS.
The occupation-based research showed that 52.13 percent of Aasara retirees and over 50% of homemakers, academic institutions, and differently abled people supported the BRS. Workers (44.14 percent), farmers (48.52 percent), and private workers (38.95 percent) also favour.
The BRS dominates 14 of Telangana's 17 Parliamentary seats, while the Congress has Peddapalli, Nalgonda, and Khammam.
