BRS to launch poll campaign with Warangal mega meet
In October, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi will convene a massive meeting of ten lakh people in Warangal and launch a serious election campaign.
On Friday, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao announced that the government would inaugurate the new Secretariat on April 30 in a joint meeting with the party's Parliamentary, Legislature, State, and Extended Committees. Program participants would include federal, state, and local party legislators. The next day, a public meeting would be held in the Secretariat. As of April 30th, he said, administrative operations would be relocated to the new Secretariat. Ministerial offices were scheduled to relocate to the new Secretariat ten days before the official opening.
KCR announced that on April 14, his Birth Anniversary, the 125-foot statue of Dr. BR Ambedkar would be unveiled. After the Statue was unveiled, a public meeting would be held at NTR Stadium. On June 1st, he said, the Martyrs Memorial would be dedicated to those who gave their lives for their country. For those who gave their lives in the fight for an independent Telangana, this memorial is being built in their honor.
KCR also made the significant announcement that the date for the party's formation celebrations would remain the same. Before switching to BRS, TRS previously observed its formation day on April 25th. He predicted that things would keep going this way. Party leaders have been instructed to fly banners in every town and city. In addition, he ordered party leaders to celebrate the introduction of the Dalit Bandhu scheme on August 16.
