Babu Mohan Embraces KA Paul's Political Faction

In a political move that stirred waves across Telugu states, veteran actor Babu Mohan announced his allegiance to KA Paul's Praja Shanthi party. The decision came shortly after he resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party. Mohan, a prominent figure in Telugu cinema, is slated to contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from the Warangal district on the Praja Shanthi party's ticket.

Addressing the media, Mohan expressed his intent to actively campaign for Dr. Paul, who is set to contest from Visakhapatnam. He lauded Dr. Paul's commitment to bringing substantial funding for the development of the Telugu states, a move he believes will foster progress and prosperity.

Mohan's departure from the BJP stemmed from his disappointment over not being considered as a candidate for the Warangal Lok Sabha seat in the upcoming elections. He had previously contested for the BJP in 2018 and 2023, representing the Andole assembly constituency.
