Being Glamorous is Subjective, says Actress Nivetha Thomas

An actor is expected to live the character that he/she is playing in the movie. When it comes to an actress the audience expects her to always look full ornate. However, with the evolution in the cinema and the metamorphosing mindset of the audience, actresses have also started picking up roles that do not necessarily demand vanity.
The Indian actress Nivetha Thomas who works in the Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam language films is known for portraying simplistic roles with utmost ease and subtlety.
However, the actress who is all set to unite with the superstar Rajinikanth in his upcoming film ‘Darbar’ was recently spotted at an event dressed up in the utmost ravishing couture. She looked drop-dead gorgeous.
In her recent interview, she said that she is up for taking up the glamorous roles. However, she has a different take on the word glamour. It’s not the skin show. When you say glamour it could mean sexy, beautiful and everybody is beautiful in one way or the other. She believes that ‘Glamour’ is very subjective. Mentioning her 2016 Telugu film ‘Gentleman’ co-starring Nani and Surbhi, she added that the subjectivity of the word glamour can be understood by the fact the fans commented on her twitter saying she has brought the perfect glamour quotient to the film even though her character wasn’t actually so-called “Glamorous”
On the work front, the actress has various interesting projects under her belt. Besides ‘Darbar’ in which she plays Rajinikanth’s daughter, she is all set to star in the Action-Thriller ‘V ‘in which she will be sharing the screen space with Sudheer, Aditi Rao Hydari and Nani with whom she will be reuniting for the third time.
Beginning her journey in the entertainment business with TV, she went on to have a successful career in films and in no time has attained stardom at this young age.
