Birthday special: Interesting Things about Venky Kudumula!

Venky Kudumula has become the well-known name to Telugu people after the super hit of his first film ‘Chalo’. But, this director has entered Tollywood much before! On the occasion of his birthday, today we are discussing a few interesting things about ‘Bheeshma’ director. Everyone knows that it is not easy to enter the film industry and get offers. Venky Kudumula from his childhood has love for films and is a big fan of Megastar Chiranjeevi. Venky whose native is Khammam later shifted his place to become an actor.

Venky came to Hyderabad and got an admission in Acharya NG Ranga University. While studying commercial agriculture and business management, Venky tried to find out the contacts of industry people. After knowing that that Krishna Nagar and Venkatgiri are the places, where shoot of the films happen, he shifted to the place. He managed to get the contacts addresses of flop directors and meet them. And then he started wishing on their birthdays and other occasions. Also, he used to put funny status messages which were liked by directors. Surprisingly, every effort of Venky had been worked out!

Initially, he worked for Teja’s film ‘Neeku Naku Dash Dash’. Teja has roped him in the direction team and helped him to learn the basics of writing. And then Venky worked as a team member in direction team for the films Toofan (Telugu version) and Jaadugadu. He worked as an assistant for Trivikram Srinivas for ‘A..Aa’ movie. And then, he decided to make a debut as a director and informed the same to Trivikram. Trivikram who was happy for Venky’s decision has encouraged him. Finally, he became a director with Chalo and bagged a hit with his very first film! Now, he is directing Nithiin’s film Bheeshma. This film stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead while Devi Sri Prasad is composing the tunes for the film.
