Bollywood Actress, Kriti Sanon Tests Covid Positive

Bollywood beauty Kriti Sanon has confirmed that she has tested COVID-19 positive. The actress was reportedly in Chandigarh shooting with Rajkummar Rao for her upcoming movie till last week and she posted a note on Instagram to confirm the news that she has tested positive for the deadly virus. She assured her fans that there is no reason to worry about her and will resume work soon.

She wrote on Instagram as, "I'd like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for COVID-19 . There's absolutely nothing to worry as I am feeling fine and have quarantined myself as per BMC and my doctor's advice. So, I am gonna ride this tide, rest it out and resume work soon. Till then, I am reading all the warm wishes and they seem to be working. Be safe guys, the pandemic hasn't gone yet," she wrote.

Many celebrities such as Tiger Shroff, Bhumi Pednekar, Ekta Kapoor and Pulkit Samrat were among others who wished the actress a speedy recovery.

Recently, Varun Dhawan and Neetu Kapoor also tested positive. They were in Chandigarh on a shooting schedule for the movie Jug Jugg Jeeyo. Varun Dhawan too confirmed on social media that he had tested positive for the virus. His co-star in the movie Jug Jugg Jeeyo, Neetu Kapoor and the director Raj of the film Mehta also tested positive.
