Bollywood Star For Ala Vaikunthapuramuloo Remake

After the success of Shahid Kapoor's last release, 'Kabir Singh', a remake of Telugu hit drama 'Arjun Reddy', multiple producers started looking for the next such remake opportunity.
Now, Allu Arjun starrer 'Ala Vaikunthapuramulo' has all the big Bollywood producers gunning for the rights. The movie scored huge at the box office in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Bollywood producer Ashwin Varde acquired the remake rights of blockbuster movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo for a record price of Rs 8 crores.
Soon, there were speculations that Allu Arvind, one of the producers of the movie wanted to remake the movie in Hindi and the process of selling the rights was kept on hold. The latest update says that Ashwin Varde acquired the rights and all the formalities got completed recently. Right after Ashwin completed the paperwork and other formalities, his hunt for the director and the lead actor is on.
There are strong talks that Akshay Kumar may play the lead role in the remake but things will be finalized once the lockdown period of COVID-19 comes to an end. Ala Vaikunthapuramulo turned out to be the biggest hit in Allu Arjun’s career. The script work of the movie starts once the director of the movie gets locked.
