A day after introducing six new policies to drive industrial growth and job creation, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu extended a warm invitation to investors, urging them to take advantage of the state's business-friendly environment, skilled workforce, and robust infrastructure.
Following the cabinet's approval of the policies, CM Naidu announced that the state government is targeting ₹30 lakh crore in investments within the manufacturing sector. He also highlighted the NDA government's commitment to creating 20 lakh job opportunities over the next five years, noting that these new policies will play a key role in achieving this ambitious goal.
On Thursday, the chief minister took to X (formerly Twitter) to share an open invitation to industrialists and investors. In his post, Naidu wrote, "Respected industrialists & investors, Andhra Pradesh is now OPEN with the best new policies." He emphasized the state's readiness to welcome businesses with a strong policy framework designed in collaboration with industry experts.
"I invite you to invest in our state, where a business-friendly government, talented youth, and robust infrastructure await you," Naidu stated. "The new policy framework is built on comprehensive consultations with industry veterans, and our goal is to create the best business ecosystem in the country. The Government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP) will take every step to support you in establishing your base and growing in AP. Now is the perfect time to invest in Andhra Pradesh! Let's collaborate on this exciting growth journey to expand your business and our state's potential."
Accompanying his post was an image of the state, styled like the "Make in India" logo, but with the caption 'Make in Andhra Pradesh' – a clear signal of the state's focus on nurturing its manufacturing sector.
On Wednesday, the Andhra Pradesh cabinet gave the green light to six key policies covering industrial development, MSMEs, food processing, electronics manufacturing, private industrial parks, and integrated clean energy. Andhra Pradesh is also pioneering a policy for private industrial parks, with plans to develop at least one in each of the state's 175 assembly constituencies in partnership with private players.
This comprehensive policy package reflects Andhra Pradesh's commitment to creating a vibrant, business-friendly environment while bolstering the state's economy and job market.
