Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reaffirmed his government's commitment to driving economic growth and prosperity in villages across Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday. Emphasizing the state’s focus on infrastructure revitalization, Naidu outlined plans to transform villages into self-sustaining communities.
During a review meeting with the panchayat raj and rural development departments, led by Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, the CM announced the launch of the Janmabhoomi 2 program, set to begin on January 1. This initiative aims to involve residents in the state's development process actively.
Naidu has extended invitations to NRIs and affluent individuals from the state to adopt their native villages and contribute to their comprehensive development. Criticizing the previous government for neglecting villages over the past five years, Naidu highlighted the need for more consultation with village panchayats in planning and executing development activities. "The state can only prosper with strong and thriving villages. We are committed to transforming.
