CM Jagan Meets Asia’s Richest Man

Asia’s richest man and chairman of RIL, Mukesh Ambani, met AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at CM camp office in Tadepally, on Saturday, to discuss the establishment of Industries in the state.

Mukesh Ambani was accompanied by his son Ananth Ambani and Rajya Sabha member Parimal Nathwani and discussed improving the health and education sectors.

They were received from the Vijayawada airport by YSR Congress MP V Vijayasai Reddy and then drove to Tadepalli where Jagan and his wife Bharati welcomed the industry Moghul and felicitated him.

In the meeting, which lasted for about two hours, Jagan told him about the welfare programs and initiatives that the state government is likely to implement in the coming months. He explained the ‘Naadu-Nedu’ (then and now) program taken up by his government to improve infrastructure in schools and hospitals.

This was Jagan’s first meeting with Mukesh Ambani, which discusses issues like industrial development in the state and investments.
