CM KCR Chose to Respond on Rumors about his Health

The supremo of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao, popularly known as KCR, sworn in as the first chief minister of the 29th state of the country, Telangana. KCR attained the position of the chief minister of the Telangana region after his party fetched 63 assembly seats out of 119 in the 2014 assembly elections. Presently, he is serving as the president of the TRS.
The key role in the struggle to establish a separate statehood for Telangana has been played by K Chandrasekhar Rao. The race which seemed uncertain to conclude had almost reached the finishing line in 2009 because of the noteworthy exertions of KCR.
There had been rumors about KCR's alleged ill health and stepping down in favor of his son, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday declared from the floor of the Assembly that he is not giving up the chief minister's post. He chose to respond and to the rumors.
KCR said for the past 20 years there were several rumors in circulation about his health and none of them were true as he is very much alive, strong and healthy till date. He also said "My age is 66 now. We will get elected at least for the next two terms and I'll continue to be the CM for the next 10 years. I will not go anywhere," said KCR expressing confidence about his health and energy. He said another 3 terms including the present term his government will be in power and he said no one can stop this. He said it is possible only with the people's wishes and God's blessings. He also responded to the rumors on KTR that "There are speculations that I would give the mantle to KTR. Why will I make KTR as CM now? I don't understand these speculations." Interestingly, while KCR is making the above comments, nephew and minister Harish Rao was sitting close to him and he was all smiles like fellow TRS MLAs and ministers.
However, KCR gave a very strong message to the public about his health and leadership.
