CMs Naidu and Shinde discuss Cooperation on Infrastructure and Development
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu met on Sunday at Shinde's official residence, Varsha, in Mumbai to discuss strategies for collaboration on infrastructure and development. The meeting focused on working together to advance the progress of their states, particularly in the digital sector and infrastructure.
The Maharashtra Chief Minister's Office (CMO) shared on X, "The CMs of AP and Maharashtra discussed development issues and reflected on cooperation to enhance the progress of their states in key sectors."
N. Chandrababu Naidu, chief of the Telugu Desam Party, was accompanied by Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu. Eknath Shinde was joined by State PWD Minister Dadasaheb Bhuse and Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde, also the CM's son and representing the Kalyan Lok Sabha constituency. Both the Telugu Desam Party and Shiv Sena are partners in the NDA.
During their 30-minute discussion, Shinde and Naidu also discussed the current political situation and economic and development agendas.
Naidu was in Mumbai to attend the wedding ceremony of industrialist Mukesh Ambani's son, Anant Ambani. On Saturday, Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu and MoS Murlidhar Mohol and Shrikant Shinde inspected the Navi Mumbai International Airport. Post-inspection, Mohol indicated that the airport would become fully operational in 2025.
