COVID19 Cases Increasing In India
As many as 1,329 new coronavirus cases were reported in last 24 hours in the country, according to the latest data released from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
While the country’s death toll stood at 603, it has also been seen that around 3,252 people have been cured till now according to which country’s recovery rate of coronavirus patients is 17.48 percent.
Lav Aggarwal, the joint secretary of Health and Family Welfare said, “61 additional districts from 23 States/UT have not reported any fresh cases in last 14 days. 4 new districts have been included in the list-Latur, Osmanabad, Hingoli & Washim in Maharashtra.”
Maharashtra continues to be at the top in terms of the number of the coronavirus cases reported in the country with a total of 4,669 cases reported till now, followed by Delhi and Gujarat with 2,081 and 2,066 cases respectively.
Meanwhile, some of the infection-free districts have seen relaxations in lockdown days. However, areas declared as Coronavirus hotspots will continue be face strict restrictions from the authorities.
Earlier this day, ICMR has advised all states not to use new rapid antibody test for Covid-19 for two days and said that it will investigate issue of faulty kits.
