Kartikeya Gummakonda and Lavanya Tripathi romantic entertainer Chaavu Kaburu Challaga directed by Koushik Pegallapati, has hit the screens today on 19th March 2021. The film is carrying decent buzz among movie lovers and fans. The movie also has Murali Sharma, Srikanth Iyengar, Rajitha, Aamani, Achanta Mahesh, Bhadram and Prabhu in the key roles. Story
Basthi Balaraju (Kartikeya) is a van driver who always carries dead bodies. One day, while he was transporting the mortal remains of a person Peter, he sees the deceased man’s wife Mallika(Lavanya Tripathi) and falls in love for her. Basthi Balaraju tries to impress her at any cost. Later she files a police complaint against him. On the otherside, a twist will start in the story as actor’ mother has affair with someone. This is linked with Balaraju’ love story and what happens next will form the rest of the story.

Performance: Actor Kartikeya is excellent in the role of Basthi Balaraju, he has given a fantastic performance with his body languages, comic timing and facial expressions, which are appreciable. He is in superb form, especially the ease and his energy levels. Actress, Lavanya Tripathi performs really well in de-glam look and she delivers her best. Senior actor, Murali Sharma is as usual in his role. Aamani, who essays a role of a slum woman justifies with her role. Host cum actress Anasuya Bharadwaj was seen in an item song and looks good.
Technical Aspects:
The basis of the love story is good and the emotions are strong. Story-wise, there is nothing much about the film. The dialogues of the film are entertaining. Cinematography is done good by Karm Chawla, which is pleasing to eyes. The songs of the movie are good. Jakes Bejoy sets the mood with his background score. Editing is good and the action sequences are well choreographed.
Overall Analysis: The film, Chaavu Kaburu Challaga is a mass entertainer with a realistic backdrop.
