Chandra Babu Naidu in plans to held the cabinet meeting on May 10

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who as of late reported he will hold the cabinet meeting inside seven days, on Monday sent an official correspondence to Chief Secretary LV Subramanyam guiding him to make plans for the gathering in the Secretariat at 10.30 am on May 10.

Dependable sources told that authorities of the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) sent the correspondence to the Chief Secretary educating him about the choice regarding Naidu to hold the cabinet meeting. In spite of the fact that the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) is in power, Naidu has chosen to hold the cabinet meeting to see whether the Election Commission will permit him or not. He is of the view that the Chief Minister has each privilege to hold the cabinet meeting and referred to that Prime Minister Narendra Modi held cabinet gatherings multiple times when the MCC is in power.

As per sources, Naidu needs to see the reaction of the senior authorities, including the Chief Secretary, with whom he is having a 'tussle', regardless of whether they will go to the cabinet meeting or not.

In the interim, a few IAS officers, including the Chief Secretary, apparently went into a cluster at an inn in Vijayawada to talk about their future game-plan in the wake of CM's choice to hold the cabinet meeting.

The improvement has accepted hugeness as the Chief Minister had officially clarified that the administrators who are not appointed race obligations, should turn up for the gatherings and audits being held by him according to the business rules. Nonetheless, senior authorities state that the CM can't hold the cabinet meeting without getting an approval of the Election Commission.

He felt that Naidu chose to hold the gathering referring to that the PM led four cabinet gatherings when the MCC is in power. "They (PMO) have sent the plan to the EC and held the cabinet gatherings restricting to the issues cleared by the EC," Krishna Rao said.
