Chandrababu Naidu Accuses Andhra Pradesh CM of Pushing Farmers into Debt
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president N. Chandrababu Naidu has accused Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy of leading Andhra Pradesh to the top of the list for farmer suicides and pushing the farming sector into a debt trap. Naidu made these allegations during a public meeting as part of the TDP's 'Raa Kadali Raa' campaign.
Naidu criticized Jagan Mohan Reddy's claims of representing the poor, stating that he is the richest Chief Minister in India and has driven away industrialists from the state by harassing them. He also accused the ruling YSRCP government of forcing leaders like Galla Jaydev to move their companies to Telangana.
During the meeting, Naidu promised to develop the aquaculture sector in Nellore, create 20 lakh jobs in five years, and offer unemployment allowances to youth. He urged the people to unite and put an end to what he called the "atrocious rule" of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Naidu also expressed his commitment to bringing water from Srisailam, Tungabadhra, and Godavari to the parched Rayalaseema region, along with the development of industrial and Information Technology projects. He accused YSRCP legislators in Kurnool of corruption, including involvement in sand smuggling and liquor trade.
