Chandrababu Naidu Alleges Decline in Growth Rate, Promises Revival with TDP-Jana Sena Alliance
During a public meeting in Parchur, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu criticized the YSRCP government, claiming a significant drop in the growth rate from 14% under TDP to 10.9% in the last five years. He highlighted a widening gap in per capita income between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, asserting that only the TDP-Jana Sena alliance can steer the state back to prosperity.
Naidu lamented the alleged neglect of Amaravati's development by the current regime, contending that prudent investment could have generated substantial revenue. He accused Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of accumulating debts while neglecting infrastructure projects.
Furthermore, Naidu pledged support to weavers by offering 200 units of free power to handlooms and 500 units to power looms. He also outlined plans for beach development in Chirala and Bapatla, along with highway expansions, promising these initiatives upon the TDP's return to power.
Asserting a groundswell of support for the TDP-Jana Sena coalition, Naidu asserted that time is running out for the Jagan government, signaling imminent change.
