Chandrababu Naidu Urges Support for TDP-BJP-JSP Alliance
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the importance of voting for the TDP-BJP-JSP alliance in the State elections. He argued against giving the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) a second chance, stating that the alliance, poised to form the government at the Centre, is committed to the State's development and welfare.
Speaking at a public meeting in Pedana alongside JSP chief Pawan Kalyan, Naidu criticized the YSRCP for failing to secure Special Category Status (SCS) and address the needs of the bifurcation-hit State despite having 22 MPs. He urged voters to support the alliance in all Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies to strengthen its bargaining power with the Central government.
Naidu highlighted the alliance's projected victory in 17 to 23 MP seats according to survey reports. He criticized Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy's governance, accusing the YSRCP of corruption and mismanagement. Promising youth employment opportunities, Naidu pledged to prioritize initiatives such as a 'mega DSC' notification, completion of the Polavaram project, and the construction of the Machilipatnam port to stimulate regional growth.
