Chiranjeevi Begins Second Schedule of #Mega157 in Mussoorie

The second shooting schedule for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s much-anticipated film #Mega157 has commenced in Mussoorie. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the commercial entertainer is being produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela under Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments.

The film, which also stars Nayanthara, VTV Ganesh, and others, is currently filming key sequences in a 10-day shoot amidst the scenic backdrop of Mussoorie. This marks the third collaboration between Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara after “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy” and “Godfather.” Sources say the film will showcase Chiranjeevi’s signature comedic style reminiscent of his 90s and early 2000s hits. Bheems Ceciroleo is composing the music while Sameer Reddy is handling cinematography.

The first schedule was completed in Hyderabad, and early footage reportedly received positive feedback. Director Ravipudi, known for his recent hit “Sankranthiki Vasthunam,” is aiming to blend action, comedy, and emotional depth. A teaser clip recently showed Chiranjeevi giving a thumbs-up to children on a school ground, fueling fan excitement. The film’s editing is being handled by Tammiraju, with art direction by A.S. Prakash. #Mega157 is slated for release during Sankranti 2026, aligning with Chiranjeevi’s tradition of festive blockbusters.
