Chiranjeevi Comments about Janasena Party

Janasena is a political party founded by the actor and politician Pawan Kalyan on 14 March 2014, The word Janasena means 'The people's army', the main motto of the party is to fight for the rights of a common man. Previously Pawan Kalyan has supported TDP and it helped to some extent forming the TDP government in AP. Now, in the year 2019, Janasena has alone competed in the election and failed.

In an interview, Megastar Chiranjeevi first time spoke about the Jana Sena party. On the event of the movie release 'Sye Raa', he has given an interview to a popular magazine, he expressed his views about the political careers of him and his brother.

He said "My sincere advice to Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan is to stay out of Politics. It is not meant for people like us. These days, money dominates the election process than anything else. Money defeated me and my brother Pawan Kalyan".

Upon this, he also said "Defeats, Disappointments, Humiliations are quite common here and everyone has to face it. Sensitive people like me cannot face it. I had to spend billions in my own constituency itself. It is not something which I have expected".

In 2009, Chiranjeevi contested from two seats and lost in one seat. He won just 18 seats of total 294 Assembly segments. Janasena is even worse. Pawan lost from both the places he contested. However, Chiranjeevi quit politics after the expiry of his Rajya Sabha tenure and started concentrating on films.
