Chiyaan Vikram suffers rib injury during shoot

Kollywood star Chiyaan Vikram, who was last seen in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2, has been hurt seriously during the filming session of his forthcoming film 'Thangalaan'. According to sources, the versatile actor was practising in a rehearsal session when he received a rib injury. Doctors are believed to have advised surgery for the same.

Recognizing this, Vikram's publicist stated in a message that the actor will take a break from Thangalaan filming for a while. Meanwhile, fans are wishing him a speedy recovery. Thangalaan, directed by Pa Ranjith, is one of the most anticipated films in Tamil cinema this year. The film, directed by KE Gananvel Raja of Studio Green, stars Parvathy Thiruvothu, Daniel Caltagirone, and Malavika Mohanan in lead parts.
