Claims of Naidu's stable health from the Doctors and Prisons DG
According to government physicians and the DIG of the prisons department, Chandrababu Naidu's condition is stable and he needs a calm environment. The medical professionals informed the correctional authorities that, after reviewing Chandrababu's current prescriptions, they have prescribed medication and advised them to store him in a cold environment, as the efficacy of the medication may be influenced by lower temperatures. The physicians specified that no steroid administration has occurred on Chandrababu, and they are not informed of any prior health conditions he may have had.
Inmates' DIG Ravi Kiran confirmed that Chandrababu's health and safety are being monitored attentively. He acknowledged that the court will be informed of all pertinent details, including the physicians' report. In response to the dispute involving Nara Lokesh, the DIG affirmed the existence of established procedures for managing diverse individuals and disavowed any wrongdoing. The court will also be presented with the medications that were prescribed to Chandrababu. The DIG emphasised that in accordance with the court's order, Chandrababu will receive medical care.
In the interim, TDP legal representatives submitted a house motion petition requesting that the superintendent of Rajamahendravaram Jail be ordered to install air conditioning in the special barrack where N Chandrababu Naidu, the former chief minister and national president of the TDP, is being held in judicial custody. The house motion has been adopted by the ACB court, which will presumably consider the petition.
According to the solicitors, Naidu's health was deteriorating and the medical team had advised him to maintain a calm environment. The ACB court, which heard the TDP attorneys' arguments regarding Naidu's health, ordered the jail administration to promptly install an air conditioner in his special barrack and to rigorously adhere to the physicians' orders.
