Cm Jagan Inaugurated YSR Vahana Mitra Program

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, on June 4 inaugurated the second phase of the YSR Vahana Mitra scheme to help auto and taxi drivers amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
In this phase, the government released Rs 262.49 crores of funds which will be directly deposited in the bank accounts of 10,000 auto and taxi drivers.
According to the YSR Vahana Mitra scheme, all the amount was supposed to be paid in the month of October only, however, it delayed due to the coronavirus situation.
CM Jagan also interacted through a video conference and said that the ones who did not get the beneficiary should register themselves in the Spandana app so that they will get their due help.
Jagan also hinted about his other such plans for the welfare of different sections of society. He said that on the 10th of this month Nayi Brahmins, Vendors, and Tailors will be receiving the beneficiary.
Deputy Chief Minister Narayana Swamy from Chittoor, Panchayati Raj Minister Peddi Reddy Ramachandra Reddy, MP Reddappa, Collector Bharat Gupta, APIIC Chairman RK Roja, MLAs Srinivas, Nawaz Basha and MS Babu were present.
