Criminal Case Against Nara Lokesh

Just two days ago, a case was filed against TDP Chief and ex-Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, for allegedly spreading false information in AP, about a new and more infectious variant of Covid spreading in the state.
A non-bailable case has been registered against him under sections 188, section 54 of the Natural Disasters Act and505(1) B and (2) of the IPC by Masapogu Subbaiah, a lawyer, at Kurnool’s police station.
As per the latest update, a criminal case has been booked against Nara Lokesh, Chandrababu’s son. A case was filed in D Hirehal police station under Section 153 (A), 505 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, after Lokesh made many allegations against Rayadurgam MLA Kapu Ramachandra Reddy, based to an incident that took place in Karnataka.
This case was filed against Lokesh for spreading hatred against Jagan in general, and Ramachandra Reddy in particular. Coming to the defense of Lokesh, TDP member Kalva Srinivasulu said that Ramachandra Reddy and his people were exploiting natural resources in Rayadurgam and their party would very soon expose the illegal activities of Kapu Ramachandra Reddy.
