Deepika Padukone Tweets On Prabhas21

The makers of Prabhas 21 gave a big surprise by revealing that Bollywood star Deepika Padukone is playing the leading lady. This is the debut film in Telugu for Deepika and she is so much excited. She re-shared the post of Vyjayanthi Movies and said “Beyond Thrilled! Cannot wait for what we believe is going to be an incredible journey ahead...”

Deepika was last seen in Chhapaak and is going to be seen in a cameo role in her husband Ranveer’s upcoming movie ‘83’ which is a sports drama. Speaking about Deepika, director of the film Nag Ashwin said “I’m very excited to see Deepika play this character. It is something no mainstream lead has done before and will be quite a surprise for everyone.”

“The pairing of Deepika and Prabhas will be one of the main highlights of the film and the story between them, I believe will be something audiences will carry in their hearts for years to come,” he added. The cast and crew of the film are yet to be confirmed.

On the other side, Prabhas is yet to complete the shoot of Radhe Shyam. The actor has to shoot for a week. Pooja Hegde is playing thr leading lady. The first look poster featuring the couple got a good response. Radhakrishna Kumar is the director.
