Delhi Assembly Election Results 2020 Live Updates; AAP Lead With 61 Seats

Counting of votes for Delhi assembly polls is underway and congratulatory messages have started coming in as Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) lead in 61 out of 70 constituencies.
Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) has won over 9 seats with Congress party nowhere to be seen in the race.
Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is leading against BJP’s Ravinder Singh Negi by a margin of over 2,000 votes after trailing for a while in Patparganj.
In Kalkaji, Atishi is now leading against BJP candidate Dharambir Singh. Among others, AAP leader Amanatullah Khan has won against BJP’s Braham Singh from Okhla. BJP’s Tajinder Bagga is trailing from Hari Nagar, while Kapil Mishra is now trailing in Model Town.
Aam Aadmi Party appears to be heading back to power for a second term in Delhi. In Delhi’s 70-seat assembly, there are 58 general seats and 12 reserved seats. The final voting percentage in the polls is 62.59 percent.
