Developments Should Be Carried On – Naidu

Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday stated that the development should not come at a halt because of the polling for 2019 elections. The elections should not come in the path of the development of the state.

Chief Minister further stated that now that the polling had been completed in the state it is a high time that the developmental works should be looked after again, and also should be ensured that everything is put in the place.

The chief minister expressed his views at a meeting which was held to review the progress over Polavaram Project on Wednesday. He instructed the officials and the contractors that they have to increase the speed and everything should be on the fast track.

He also remarked that India is a democratic country and that elections are the part of it, so it cannot be ignored however the development is as important, so as now the polling is completed, it time to get back and speed up.

It is important that the administration should shake off their election mood and return to the work.
