Dil Raju Locked The Release Date Of 'Jaanu'

The Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster hit film 96, which is titled as Jaanu, has been in the news for a long time. The movie, which stars Samantha and Sharwanand in the lead roles was directed by Prem Kumar, who directed the Tamil version too.

The music composer for the movie is Govind Vasantha Menon, who composed music for original, scored the tunes for Telugu remake as well. The movie is bankrolled by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations. The movie has been wrapped up already and many believed that the film is expected to be released on February 14, 2020, on the occasion of Valentine’s Day.

However, now, the film’s producer Dil Raju confirmed officially that they are planning to release the film on February 7th. Samantha will step into the shoes of Trisha and Sharwanand is portraying the role of Vijay Sethupathi in the film. The movie's announcement and posters which evoke a sense of nostalgia are the talk of the town. Let us hope Samantha and Sharwanand will evoke a sense of nostalgia in Telugu remake too!
