Election Commission Serves Notice to KCR for Commenting Hindus
Telangana CM KCR was served notices by the Chief Election Commission of India (ECI) for making bad comments against Hindus at an election campaign.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) state president M Rama Raju filed a complaint on KCR and based on the complaint, the notices were served.
Rama Raju claimed that KCR during his election campaign in Karimnagar said, "Ee Hindu Gaalu... Bondu Gaalu.. Dikkumalina Daridrapu Gaalu... Desham Lo Aggi Petale Gattar Levale...".
The EC examined the English translations of the words and felt those words come under Election Code of Conduct which disturbs religious harmony.
According to the sources, KCR should reply to them before April 12th 5 PM. If not, EC is liable to take any action without any further intimation.
KCR targeted BJP in his speech for its concern over Ram Mandir and cow transportation when there are many other crucial problems in the country.
